Sony Cybershot
Bought this camera for my 21 year old daughter and she loves it. The screen in the back is just the right size and so far no complaints!

Image Quality Not As Expected
I bought this camera after much research- My initial impressions were good. But when I brought up my first picture on Photoshop I immediately realized that something was wrong. The picture quality was not good. I tried all the settings and I took a lot of comparision shots with my Canon S80 and the Sony. The daylight shots are fine. The flash shots are terrible. Very grainy, speckled and fuzzy; like another reviewer stated here. I thought that it might be a faulty camera, but when the daylight shots came out fine I came to the conclusion that it is the camera.
I have pulled my S80 off eBay and I'm returning the Sony. Now I'm looking at the Sony W200, W300 and most likely going to get the Canon SD100. If you buy the WD170 camera, take test shots before comitting...

Another Awesome Sony Product
I purchased this camera to replace my older Sony DSC-W5. I loved the image and build quality of the W5 but, I wanted a smaller/lighter camera. The DSC-W170 also offered twice the megapixels, a wide angle lens, 5x zoom lens, bigger/better LCD and a rechargeable Li-Ion battery. The DSC-W170 is very well built, unlike some of the cheaper plastic cameras on the market. For example, Sony used a metal tripod mount instead of a plastic one. Sony used a high quality Carl Zeiss lens on this camera, much like other models in the Cyber-Shot series. However, it's a wide angle lens, so you can fit more people in a shot without backing up. On the back, you will find a beautiful 2.7" LCD, displaying an impressive 230k pixels. Features are where the W170 really shines. It features Sony's "Super SreadyShot" optical image stabilization, which really helps reduce unwanted camera shake. The face detection works very well, as does the smile shutter. A new Sony feature this year is child and adult priority, which amazingly works. "Happy Faces" is an in-camera editing feature that can make a person look like they are smiling, which works to an extent. Battery life is rated at ~400 shots, which is accurate and plenty long enough for most people. Noise is not usually a problem if you don't go above ISO 800. It also has an "Easy" mode that takes away the more advanced/confusing functions. Some of the other reviewers mentioned poor image quality, which is not true. I wouldn't expect a compact point & shoot to get better results than a chunky DSLR. Image quality is excellent and most users will be very happy with the images this camera can take. Overall, the Sony DSC-W170 is a high quality camera that should satisfy anyone looking for a compact point & shoot camera. I hope this helps!

Best Point & Shoot I've ever owned.
I have owned several point and shoots over the last few years and have close to 20,000 pictures posted on Flickr from these cameras. All of these cameras were Canon's. While the picture quality of these cameras was decent to good the actual camera itself wouldn't hold up. I was buying a new one every year because something would break or stop working.

I went in search of a more durable camera and ended up with the Pentax Optio W60 because of its claims of durability. It was a durable camera but took the worst pictures I've ever seen. After playing with it for 2 days I sent it back.

I did more research and narrowed it down to this Sony and some other Canon's. I wanted to make a change for nothing more than to see if I could keep a camera longer than 1 year without it breaking. Not only is this Sony durable and easy to use - the picture quality is incredible. The focus and the realistic colors are so amazing I want to go back and retake all of my pictures.

Awesome Camera
What a great purchase - I am very happy with this camera's capability & preformance.

HANDY DEVICE
Bought this product before going on vacation since I couldn't locate the original adapter for my camera (thanks to my 3yo's facination with cords). I love the smaller design and it charged quickly. It packs up in the camera bag nicely. I won't have to worry about where it went anymore.

This is the only one to use.
The is the best, do not buy anything else. It works far better than others.

EXCELLENT
I had to buy this to replace the original that I lost. I love battery chargers plug directly into the wall outlet. This is great charger.

Very compact and efficient charger.
This is a very compact charger which you can use to carry for travelling. Price is also reasonable.

Convenience
This product works as intended and does it flawlessly. It has a simple purpose and that is to charge your mini-dv batteries in a wall outlet. This is a much easier way to charge camera batteries and provides the extra convenience and benefit of ebing able to charge up an additional battery while filming with your other battery (assuming you have two, of course).

Depends on your expectations
I agree with the other reviewers that this is definitely an entry level camera. It takes very good pictures outdoors. Colors are rich, contrast is sharp. However, it's a nightmare to work this thing indoors. It's nearly impossible to not get some sort of blur in indoor pictures. First, the view finder takes a long time to come into focus so you basically have to remain still for around 3 seconds before even pressing the button. Once you press the button, it's anyone's guess how long the shutter lag will be, so you better keep still until you hear the click. Even if you do manage to take a picture indoor without any movement, the colors are flat and contrast poor. You have to use photoshop to improve any single indoor picture. I swear, I have taken better looking photos with my cell phone than with this camera. Again, this problem is with indoors lighting. No such problems outdoors for me.

Another bad thing is that the camera eats up battery charge super fast. Even with Duracell batteries, the battery meter goes down within minutes. Basically you have to bring a lot of backup batteries with you if you intend to take lots of pictures.

The one positive surprise about this camera is the video feature. The video and sound quality is actually quite good give how mediocre the camera's pictures are.

In conclusion, if you buy this expecting a mediocre starter camera for under 0, you won't be disappointed. However, you have high expectations, you will be sorely disappointed.

Good camera
The only thing I'm disappointed about this camera is the low memory storage it has. You can only hold about 15 pictures on the camera with out buying a larger memory or downloading them to your computer.

An alright camera.
This camera is ok if you are just looking for a typical, average, not-so-special digital camera. It is not a good camera for photographing small up close items. For normal everyday photos of people or places, then this is a good camera for you. The 'zoom' feature only works if you have the resolution set to the highest it can go...which is only 3 options. You can have black & white, sephia, and colored photos. This camera does not like to photograph moving images. I have owned this camera for about 2 years now and its done the jobs needed to be done :] this camera can also record up to about 5 minutes of video, that can come in handy.

Excellent introductory digital camera
I purchased this camera earlier this year and fell in love with it immediately! At 5.1 Mega-pixels resolution, it produces excellent photographs that can be printed clearly at up to 8"x10" in size. I use a 512MB Kingston SD card (Available for around on Amazon.com), which provides me with plenty of storage space for photos and video clips. I've only filled the card completely once, and I had over 120 images and around 100 video clips of varying length. A 512MB card at full-resolution will probably store at least 350-400 images. In addition to high-quality, high-resolution pictures, the Vivicam 5100 can record video clips and has a decent built-in microphone (The sound quality is great unless there's a breeze blowing into the microphone, which causes some distortion in the sound).

The best feature of the Vivitar 5100 is the use of AA batteries, instead of bulky camera batteries. I use rechargeable batteries, so I just keep 6-8 fully-charged batteries in the case (sold separately) with the camera, and I never have to worry about running out of juice. If I ever do, I know I can easily buy a new set of batteries anywhere I go, so I don't have to wait until I can put the camera or battery on the charger for a few hours to continue shooting.

There's one thing to remember about this camera: It's a basic point-and-shoot model, and is not suitable for the advanced photographer. It has a relatively slow shutter speed, which means it simply won't capture fast-action shots, so you may end up with some blurry pictures. Fortunately, you don't have to waste time or money getting the pictures developed to find out whether or not they are blurry - just erase them right on the camera! Several other reviewers have mentioned that there is a slight delay between pushing the button and capturing the picture, which is true but not a major problem for most instances. Also, this camera has no optical zoom capability, so you can't get the same high-res pictures if the subject is too far away. It has a digital zoom, but all that does is crop the image, meaning you can't print it at full size to get the same high-quality image. This hasn't cause me any problems, but is good to know about. Again, this is a perfect entry-level digital camera.

I was able to use the camera immediately when I opened the box, but found out later that the camera was factory-set with a date-stamp on all the images, which couldn't be removed. All of my first-day pictures had the date printed over the image. That wasn't too bad, but I wish I had known ahead of time so I could have taken that off before shooting all those pics!

This is my first digital camera, and I couldn't be happier with it. I'm sure I'll upgrade to a higher-end camera eventually, but this one serves my needs very well for now, and was certainly worth the I paid for it - worth a lot more, in fact. If you're new to digital cameras or just want something basic to capture memories, this is the camera for you!

Will Wipe Memory Card
This is basically a digital point and shoot, but IT DELETED 250 PICTURES FROM MY MEMORY CARD WITHOUT WARNING, and I lost all of my pictures from a 2 month backpacking trip. Be careful, and do not insert a memory card that already has pictures on it, I think that is how they got deleted.

LOVE IT!!!
This is probably the best money I spend all year! I love this camera, it is so easy to use and it makes it less stressful to have out all the time with it being water proof and shock proof. It takes great pictures and I love all the different settings. I haven't used it underwater yet but will in a few months and cant wait to try it out! I highly recommend this camera!

Works great, but not in the water!
I bought this camera with such high hopes, having planned a trip to Costa Rica that included waterfall rappelling, snorkeling, and plenty of time in the Pacific waves... The camera worked perfectly the first half of my trip, with crystal clear snapshots of scenery, people, and food. However, the first time we went in the ocean, the camera froze up and stopped working. Waterproof? Definitely not.

When we got it inside, I followed the instructions to clean off the camera, etc. However, I noticed water in the LCD area, and when we opened it up, there was water in through the battery and xD slots. Unfortunately, the camera never worked again.

So I would not recommend this product to anyone who actually expects it to be waterproof. It takes beautiful photos, but isn't worth the extra money for features that aren't really there.

Don't get this camera!
I have used Canon small cameras (ELPHS and SureShots) extensively for at least 15 years, for thousands of vacation and family photos under all sorts of conditions. Because I am always dropping cameras and cell phones, I decided to try the "unbreakable" Olympus 850SW. Well, I might not drop it; I might THROW it at something after trying to use it for two months. (1) The battery life is nonexistent. I hardly ever had to charge any of my Canons; they would run for two days of constant shooting on vacation, for example. This Olympus battery dies in a half-hour. (2) The storage card is, as many have pointed out, uncommon. It turns out to really annoy me to have to carry an extra cable, etc. (3) Despite its 20+ special settings, I couldn't get a single decent picture at an indoor fashion show, not with any setting, not in regular auto mode--nothing. Again, in comparison to the long list of Canons I've had, this is pathetic. I never had to worry about focus with a Canon. This camera looks cool and may be indestructible; it's just not a good CAMERA.

The best camera ever!
My parents gave me this camera for my birthday and I love it! The photos and the screen are so clear.

Mom-Cam
We needed a waterproof camera for a family vacation. I got amazing shots underwater. I got great shots out of water, too. I am a terrible picture-taker...but this camera seems to compensate for my photographic ineptitude.

Definitely glad we got a bright color; silver or blue would be easy to lose at the bottom of a pool or on a beach.

Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon Digital SLR Cameras

Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon Digital SLR Cameras
Binding: Electronics
Manufacturer: Canon
Product Description:
Bring your photographic subjects closer with this Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS Image Stabilizer Telephoto Zoom Lens. It is designed with Canon's Optical Image Stabilizer technology and is compact and light. This high zoom ratio lens is equivalent to a focal length of 88-400mm in the 35mm format (when used on Canon EOS cameras compatible with EF-S lenses). The image stabilizer effect is equivalent to a shutter speed about 4 stops faster than the same size lens without Image Stabilizer. In other words, if the slowest shutter speed you could formerly hold a 250mm lens steadily was 1/250th of a second, with Canon's 4-stop stabilization correction, you could hand-hold at shutter speeds as slow as 1/15th of a second. It also uses a UD-glass lens element to correct chromatic aberration for excellent image quality throughout the zoom range.

Filter Size - 58mm Max. Diameter - x Length 2.8 in. x 4.3 in./70 x 108mm (maximum lens length) Weight - 13.8 oz./390g Canon 1 year limited warranty
Amazon.com Product Description:
Incorporating Canon's Optical Image Stabilizer technology, this Canon 55-250mm telephoto zoom lens captures long distance, low-light shots far better than many comparable lenses, helping you photograph the far-off action of athletes or zoom in for an intimate portrait with a blurred background. The high-zoom-ratio lens is equivalent to a focal length of 88-400mm in the 35mm format (when used on Canon EOS cameras compatible with EF-S lenses). More significantly, the image stabilizer effect creates an equivalent shutter speed of roughly four stops faster than the same size lens without an image stabilizer. In other words, if the slowest shutter speed you can hold a 250mm lens steadily is normally 1/250th of a second, this Canon lens will let you hand-hold shutter speeds as slow as 1/15th of a second. The lens also boasts a UD-glass lens element to correct chromatic aberration to create excellent image quality throughout the zoom range. Delivering an excellent performance at an affordable price for all photographers, the 55-250mm lens carries a one-year warranty.

new favorite lens
I have the rebel xti and currently have the 18-55mm that came with it, and the 50mm f1.8, but I needed a little more focal range. I opted for the 55-250mm with IS not only for the increased focal range but also for the amazing price. Although it is plastic, the lens has a good, sturdy feel. The image stabilization is spectacular and has made photo opportunities that were previously impossible for me a breeze. If you are debating between this and the 70-300 with IS, though I have not used it, I would recommend this. For only 50mm more focal range and the price increase I couldn't see how the 70-300 could be worth it. I am considering eventually getting a 1.4x teleconverter that will bump this lens up to a max 350mm for only around 0, however it will need to be used mainly for outside photography due to its decrease in aperture. Well done, Canon.

Great Lens
Great Image Stabilized lens the 70-300 is like 0 the 55-250 was 0 or less. I love this lens

Great Performance for the Price
The Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6IS Lens boasts great performance for the reasonable price. I shoot with this lens on a Canon Rebel XSi as my primary telephoto lens while I collect my funds for an L series zoom.
Image quality on this lens is great, especially outdoors on a bright day, it captures great colors and details. Images tend to loose sharpness in most cases when set at 250mm although the images still turn out nicely. The auto focus works well and generally fast, though a few times it struggled find the right object to focus on and a few times struggled to focus on anything at all; these few cases by no means drop the quality of this lens. the image stabilizer also works very nicely. I was shooting an Indiana Hoosiers game in Assembly Hall (anyone who has been to Assembly Hall knows how poorly lit the arena is unless you are right down on the floor) and was worried about the poor quality of the shots since I did not have floor seats and knew this lens wasn't the fastest. Much to my chagrin, the vast majority of the pictures turned out to be a boon to my collection.
While there are many other lens that have much superior optics and build quality, I simply must give this lens five stars for the fact that it gives GOOD performance at a GREAT price. It is not without its quirks, but i would recommend this lens to anyone with a limited budget looking for a good telephoto lens.

Pleased to See Afar
We are ver pleased with the Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS Telephoto Zoom Lens. It arrived on time as promised and in excellent condition. Look forward to the many, many pictures from a distance. Thank you!

Bang for the buck!
Got this for Christmas. Impressive lens. Some reviewers have said it felt "cheap"...I do not get that feeling. Sure it is plastic, but it has a solid feel. The image quality is quite impressive from 55mm all the way up to 250mm. Some softness at 250mm, but minimal. Basically, if you are on a budget and want a good "do it all" (almost at least) lens then this is an excellent choice. Ordered from Cameta and could not be happier with them as a dealer.

poor quality
I bought this camera for my many snorkeling trips worldwide. The first trip I took it on was the Maldives and I was really excited to get some great underwater shots. I took it out on the reef in fairly calm conditions and the camera failed and never would turn back on. I was really upset at this but figured that the company would replace it, however when I sent it to them they said the seals were fine so they would not replace it. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!

LCD screen unusable in the daylight!
I bought this camera two years ago as an alternate camera to take along in my purse or when riding horse back. My main camera is a Canon EOS D-60.

I have two Pentax 35 mm that I used before digital, and I really liked them, so I figured this would be a quality camera.. boy was I wrong.

The zoom is great if you use a tri-pod or can stabilize against something, and... if the sun isn't bright so you can focus on your subject..

but basically.. any shots without stablization or in the sunlight are worthless.

I am very dissappointed in this camera..and wish I had bought another Canon.

An ok camera. Slightly overpriced.
This is my second one of this camera. (First one got waterlogged because I forgot to lock the battery compartment and left it in the water a few minutes longer than I was supposed to.) The picture quality isn't as high as that of my regular digital cameras, but I guess you can't have it all. I love that I can take my camera into the lake for up-close pictures of my daughter splashing! It takes nice pictures ... they just disappoint me when I try to zoom in. Also, it sometimes looks as if it is focussed on exactly what I want a picture of then switches to something else last-second when I click. (One time I tried to get a pic of my daughter building a sand castle. ... last second it switched focus over to her pail and shovel!)

I hope that in the future, this camera is lowered to under 0 and/or much better ones come out in the 0-350 range. ... Next time I might just look for a waterproof case for my Kodak Easyshare.

Takes great pictures........maybe a bit sensitive to damage
I've had this camera for about a year and a half. While it worked right it was a great camera. Recently the backlight quit working while in camera mode. It still took fantastic pictures but you could not see your subject in the screen on the back (well you could see it but it wasn't lit up). Local camera shop charged 30 bucks for estimate...of course factory repair issue. Factory repair was 160.00 including the thirty already put down for estimate. Normally for a 250.00 camera I would never consider paying so much for a repair but a friend of mine wanted the camera and so he paid to fix it (couldn't buy one new for what he paid for the repair and there would be a warranty on it too). I don't know if they changed the seals as a part of that repair....they better have for all that money! It came back better than it was, I can only assume they've improved the firmware or the motherboard itself as that was most likely what they did, replaced the whole insides. I know it's the same outer camera because of a blemish on the outer body. This is a fantastic camera for its size, like all the small ones, the flash is only good for nearby shots, not good for a group picture etc. but it does far better than many small cameras like this that I've played with. The sensor on this camera does better than most small ones at high iso (usually high iso is so grainy you can't stand it on these little ones) but I still set it down to 200 as much as possible it improves the pictures a lot (you can also run noise ninja on the shots to improve them even more). The movies this little thing takes are excellent but they are quicktime file format and for me using xp 64 bit apple has not seen fit to release a 64bit quicktime player so I can only play the movies on a machine with 32 bit xp or probably vista. The options offered on the camera are great, it even has onboard image editing......which would be really useful if you carry a mini printer around and want to print straight off the camera. There are two newer incarnations of this camera the w20/w30. I do not like the way the battery door is arranged on this unit, it's on the bottom and it's a bit easy to open accidentally, on the w30 the battery door has been moved to the side, probably a slightly more intelligent location. The competing product to this is made by Olympus and is about 80 bucks more no matter where you shop, the olympus product seems to have more anti-shake tech built into it. I've owned Pentax film bodies in the past, only one gave me huge problems so they generally make good products. I think what messed me up with this camera was taking it with me in the car and something may have fallen on it but otherwise it is a very sturdy camera and I had no problems with leaks as others seem to have experienced. I've seen reviews where folks put this thing in boiling water and it survived so it's a pretty sturdy little beast. I can't decide yet to get a w30 or give the olympus a try, all I can say is read consumer reviews and form your own opinion, the only turn off for the olymps is it uses xd cards and I really don't want yet another flash memory format to deal with (they're also more expensive for the size).

Pros:
Battery life is pretty fair, extra batteries available cheaply on Ebay.
Movie mode with antishake
Onboard picture editing (light/dark/some basic effects)
Large view screen
SD card
Tough/waterproof

Cons:
I don't like battery door placement (bottom)
After a year and a half had a problem, expensive repair
Like someone else mentioned, to maintain waterproof integrity you must have seals changed occasionally
Two newer models w20/w30 with more megapixels
Flash only good for close subjects (that's pretty normal)
Antishake only works for movies apparently
Typically slow on the uptake, not good for fast action

Over 2 years, and still loving it
I love this camera! It is not perfect (I would have preferred to give it 4.5 stars), but it is very close. I love being able to carry this camera with me and use it for any occasion. Sure, it is not the best for low light or professional quality pictures, but you can't expect that quality from something that will easily fit in your pocket. Many times i have had it with me and it started to rain and other people have to put up their camera, but i just looked at them and smiled!

I've taken it all over (Hawaii, Costa rica, florida, utah) and put it through all sorts of trouble. I've had it snorkeling, surfing (less than 5 ft waves), snowboarding, weddings, and even at disney world. I've dropped it several times and it is still fine. I don't recommend dropping it just to see what will happen, but it should be able to withstand the accidental drop.

The pictures turn out remarkably well, but low light conditions are definitely not the best. You have to be extra careful unless you have a tripod when taking any low light pictures to avoid blur. The biggest problem that I have with it when I am in the water are water drops sticking to the lens. This results in a fabulous shot, except for the big blur spot right smack in the middle.

The video is also really good is you overlook the sound. I would say that the video quality rivals my old time mini-vhs camcorder, if not better. As long as their is sufficient light (overcast and brighter is ok), the quality will be great. I've played some of my videos on a 50" plasma and everyone that saw it was amazed that it came from a small digital camera.

I would highly recommend this to anyone. You may want to upgrade to the w20 or w30, but the only real difference is the ability to go a few feet deeper and 1 more megapixel.

Pros: good still pictures, great video, small enough to carry everywhere, WATERPROOF, SD media, lots of settings, quick start up

Cons: only good still pictures, poor audio recording with video, video files are huge (15 minutes per gigabyte), only waterproof to 5 feet for 30 minutes, water drops stay on lens, no optical view finder

Disappointed
First, I'll say that there are some things I really liked about this camera after using it for the past six months. The retro design makes it unique among digital cameras, and is very attractive if that's your style. The low price for a 10 megapixel camera is unrivaled as well, and was one of the main draws for me for this camera. It holds battery well, so I didn't have to recharge as often as some other cameras I've had. (It has an internal battery, so requires computer connection and cable to charge.)

Now, the downsides. It is very, very slow to take and process pictures: Expect to wait several seconds after snapping a shot before you're able to preview the picture. That doesn't sound like a lot, but for a camera that has problematic settings and needs more attention than the average point-and-shoot (see below), I found I was missing shots that even a disposable film camera could have snapped more easily and quickly.

In automatic mode, I rarely came out with focused pictures; it usually required playing around with various scenes and settings, even in full daylight. The on-screen functions are confusing, which may reflect my own personal preference, but I never really got used to them. I don't consider this camera a simple point-and-shoot, so because it requires heavy adjustments on the settings, I would have hoped them to be a little more user friendly. There are a series of buttons along the bottom and right side of the screen to scroll through the functions, which I found complicated to navigate -- I was always clicking the wrong functions because it was not clear which button matched up to what.

One of my major complaints is that the structure of the camera itself was, in my opinion, shoddy. I took very good care of the camera, always stored it in a case and never abused it. However, after less than two months of use, the pop-up flash started acting up. The flash would go off but not pop up sometimes, causing ruined, black pictures when flash was necessary. Not much later it broke completely -- the flash device is up 100% of the time and won't go down unless held there, so while I don't have dark pictures anymore, the flash risks snapping off.

In the end, I gave the camera away and just bought a Nikon S210 to replace it. The price on the new camera is about the same, and although the Nikon is 8 megapixels, it has consistently taken better pictures faster than the Samsung, and thrives in automatic mode.

For a nice looking, attractive camera, go for the Samsung NV15. For quality pictures, steer clear.

Generally happy, but with some concern.
Picture quality is very good, but not excellent. I don't like the pop-up flash. When someone else uses the camera, they tend to think it can be opened manually -- a logical conclusion. Fortunately, I've been able to give them advanced warning. If that isn't possible in the future, someone may innocently break the camera by opening the flash. Also, dust seems to be collecting under the LCD cover. That would be OK, if there were a way the user could clean it out.

Great camera, great price, great service
Everything I expected and more. This camera is sexy. Easy to use, fast from power to click, long battery life.

Very Good, Many Features
If your worried about it being durable, don't be. I work as an engineer at a steel mill and I use it to document projects. I've dropped it a couple times from waist height, covered it in metal dust, and overall have generally used it in hot, sweaty, and dirty conditions. I've even had some water splashed on it. Sure it may have a couple small scratches on the frame, but that's to be expected. The display on the back is even fine. The only issues I have had is that the lens guard wouldn't open all the way once after I dropped with the lens was extended. However, it only took a few "on-off" cycles and then it opened perfectly fine. Also, the flip up flash seems a little flimsy for my liking, but I haven't really had a problem with it.

I would have so say the best feature is that it is rechargeable just like an iPod. You can plug it into the computer to charge it, or plug the same cord into the USB-to-AC Power adapter that it comes with. It's worth buying just so you don't have to buy batteries every other time you use it. I've even used it in a pinch as a portable hard drive to transport files since it appears as one on your computer when not using the provided software.

I was initially looking for a camera with a 10x zoom, but the 10.1 megapixels make up for what the 3x zoom lacks (you really don't need more than 7 MP otherwise). As for the shake reduction, I've taken it on a very fast roller coaster, although I'd advise not to, and ended up with some surprisingly clear pictures.

The psudo-touch screen buttons along the sides of the display is a pretty sexy feature. I'll admit though, even for a engineer, it took me a while of tinkering before I got the hang of navigating the controls. On the upside, they allow for a larger screen on a smaller camera.

All in all, it's a really great camera for the price. I've used it in many different environments for many different types of pictures, and I haven't even used half of the features that it provides. I bought the NV15 on Amazon over the summer for around 0. For that price, or anything under 0, you definitely can't pass it up.

Great Camera
I have enjoyed using this camera, the interface with the multiple buttons around the screen makes changing the settings a breeze. It does a pretty good job cleaning up the picture when you use the doubler as well and I think it looks pretty cool.

JUST WHAT I NEEDED
Well money spend.. received a couple of weeks ago and its great. No need to spend a lot of money on brand names.

Nice charger and a nice price~
This is a nice basic charger at a great price. I bought this for my Mom because she lost hers and insisted on an immediate replacement (she found hers 2 days later after ordering! GOTTA LOVE THOSE MOMS ;>)) Anyway the charger has been a great back up.

Perfect for Panasonic Lumix FZ28
Nice snug fit with the lens hood on the camera. Bag is better quality than I expected. Well padded. Very secure. 2 zippers close the top flap which is then fastened over the front pocket with velco. Side pockets will hold more memory cards than I will use. Ajustable velco divider in the main compartment which is useful if you are carrying the FZ28 without the lens hood on.

very cute
Nice and cute videocam bag, good quality.Could have been better if just a little bit bigger, so you can put more stuff in.

Barely fit
The Panasonic DV GS320 barely fit into this bag. Look for the next size up to fit your cam comfortably. There is no room for the charger cable or even a shoulder strap.

Excellent Little Bag
I just took it on a trip overseas, and it held everything I needed for the camera and a few extras. Even loaded down it was still light and easy to carry. It's sturdy, attractive, and I know that I'll be happily using it for years to come.

Nice and compact
I purchased this for my Canon ZR900 Digital Video Camra and it has plenty of room for the camcorder and batteries and a couple of tapes. The divider needs to be removed but otherwise it holds everything I need it to hold. I don't like big bulky bags. when I go somewhere I only want a few things and something light and easy to carry and this does the job.
