Nice but far from perfect
I got this for Christmas for my seven year old goddaughter. She loved it. Very easy to use. She figured about how to use it within minutes. One flaw, major flaw is the battery time. Batteries do go within 2 hours. Her parents are going to hate me. They are going to have to keep on replacing batteries for this product.

My 6 year old loves this!
My daughter loves this camcorder that she got for Christmas! It works well enough for a child and she has already mastered everything on it! It also takes pictures! The only complaint I have is that the batteries do tend to go south on it fairly quickly! Other than that she is very happy and so am I!

Tiny screws!
This item was defective when it arrived so I cannot comment on the overall quality. However, I did change the batteries several times while trying to troubleshoot the defect and the TINY TINY screws holding the compartment closed were really annoying! The compartment holds both the batteries and the additional memory card, so these screws have to be taken out and put back in repeatedly. I am all for kid safety, but come on! If the child is old enough to work the camera in the first place, can't they be trusted not to eat batteries or stick a fork in there? I would avoid this product for that reason alone.

Fun for kids, frustrating for parents
My 8-year-old loves the idea of having her own camera that operates like ours. The drawbacks from a grown-up perspective: 1) The batteries run out in an hour or two (4 AA), and in order to replace them you have to unscrew the compartment each time. I have a feeling the screw is going to be stripped very quickly, and we've already spent a small fortune in batteries. 2) The camera comes with almost no memory at all, so you MUST buy a memory card--wish I had known this before buying. 3) The video quality is very poor in all but the best lighting. Overall, my daughter is thrilled, but I think in retrospect I would have spent a bit more up front on a different camera to save a lot of time and money in the long run.

Not worth the Price.
The camera was missing the entire lens housing when my daughter opened it Christmas Morning. I never purchased a new camera that was partially assembled. The price and color were big factors that led to this purchase. I will spend more next time to get a better quality camera with more features. This is a poor camera for the price!

These binoculars are a disappointment
I"ve got 50 year's experience with good binoculars and wanted a knock-around, inexpensive pair that was waterproof, fit in my pocket like these clamshells, and had good optics (obviously). I've generally used Nikon and Bushnells, so I started with those. While these Nikons are light, waterproof, and well designed, the optics are not good, I tried three pair (including the 10x25s) over a total of two months and all three were out of alignment. They gave me headaches. I finally decided on Vortex Typhoons - which are a GREAT binocular for the money. I was amazed at the quality of the Vortex over the Nikons and Bushnells.

Great compact Binoculars
These are really compact, smaller than the 8 x25 Sportstars and feel great in the hands. The wide angle makes a big difference when birding as does their being waterproof and fog proof. They are as good, I feel better, than the travelite 5s although a tad heavier. Well constructed, good optics and in their price range amongst the top. Give them serious consideration or buy up at least +150$

A little Gem to Carry with you
I am a Nikon fan and have many products of Nikon. I just love these little waterproof binocluars. I think for ther size, the waterproof and adjustable eye cups they are great. They do have a dial for focusing as well and they even come with a case and are the size of point and shoot cameras. I wouldn't say pocket size but close and they are well made and heavy so a coat pocket in the winter yes otherwise they will fit into a backpack, purse very easily and come with covers for the lenses too. All in all for a small set and certainly not the highest magnification they do what they are intended to do. For me it is just hiking and using them when on the water or near the river and from high above in my city apt looking out over the river and skyline of NYC.

Great little binoculars/terrible instruction manual
I received these binoculars as a Christmas gift. They are light, compact & water resistant. I had never before seen binoculars with "turn-and-slide eyecups" - I like them a lot.

The instruction manual is very user un-friendly. It is written in 6 languages. Instead of separating the manual into separate sections for each language, the precautions, including maintenance & storage, are written in small segments in 3 languages on each page. This is followed by the operation sections, which is separated by language. I guess Nikon must think it's confusing, too, as there is a table of contents in the front of the manual in each of the 6 languages Fortunately, an instruction manual isn't needed much for binculars.

Piece of Junk
I bought this camera on Dec. 22 as a gift for my son. We brought it on vacation, and by Dec. 28 it stopped working. The display monitor wouldn't display a picture any more. I never dropped it, never manhandled it, and was always careful with it. My son was, too, as I taught him to always wear the camera strap on his wrist to avoid accidentally dropping it, and I always observed him using it, and he was very careful. Nevertheless, the display doesn't work anymore, and since it doesn't have a viewfinder, I now have a 0 paperweight, as Best Buy told me it was "accidental" damage, even though I had no accident with it. I guess I'll try sending it to Nikon, though am not happy that I have to pay all the postage for their junky product, and if they decide it's an "accident," I'll get no help there either.

The picture quality was ok (though there were a bunch of blurry ones for no reason I can figure out and some with streak marks), but I didn't expect too much because of the price. Never going with Nikon again, though. If you decide to buy this anyway, be sure NOT to get it from Best Buy, as they don't stand behind their products unless you buy their ridiculously overpriced warranty plans. Maybe they buy junk on purpose hoping you'll buy their warranty plans (which by the way aren't that great since we had one on a laptop from them and it took them forever to fix it each time it broke).

Eats Batteries!
This camera takes pretty good pics for the money, BUT it eats batteries even if it is switched OFF!...sit it on the shelf for two weeks and the batteries are dead. You cannot use rechargeables either...DO NOT BUY, but if you do, then buy a 100 pack of batteries.

Too Fragile to be a Kids Starter Camera
My 12 year old was really excited to get this camera on Christmas morning and had gobs of fun with it. She took it everywhere (in a fashionable soft case) taking pictures every chance she could. Loved it.

Unfortunately on Day 5 of ownership she pressed on the LCD monitor too hard while cleaning it with a soft cloth. And that's all it took. The LCD display is now fragmented and unreadable. Without the LCD the camera is worthless Landfill Toast. Our local dealer, the same one who raved about it as a kids starter camera, advised us the fix will be more than the cost of a new one. As you read other reviews I'm sure you will notice that the Coolpix lens is also prone to malfunction and breakage.

For those reasons I would not advise this camera for children, even those adept at handling iPods and cell phones and laptops. We will not consider replacing with the Nikon Coolpix line. There are other manufacturers who have more durable low end cameras and that's where we will be headed.

This was a painful lesson. Hope this saves somebody a little heartache.

Great point and shoot camera
We bought this camera for my parents for Christmas. They are over 80 and this is their very first digital camera. We could not have made a better choice. This camera was easy to use right out of the box, even for my dad, who never handled a digital before. Every picture seems to come out crisp and clear. The best part is the 3" screen - that makes it perfect for older users.

Great for the price, simple
Gave this to my mom (65+) as her first ever digital camera. She doesn't even use a cell phone. Works great in the full auto mode. She was able to figure it out in a half an hour of practice.

Only drawback I've seen is the picture review time after taking a photo is not configurable. The photo only stays on the screen for about 2/3rds of a second after you take the picture. To see it again, you have to poke the 'play' button.

Focus is good enough - misses getting an autofocus lock about 1 in 5 times indoors under fair to poor light. Not as good as my Panasonic, but better than nothing.

Feedback is great - easy to tell if you have focus, intuitive beeps (single for focus, double for missed focus, etc).

Picture quality is good enough - you won't be making prints to hang in the Guggenheim, but for snapshots it's fine.

Worked perfectly
I purchased 6 of these memory cards for a trip to Asia. They worked perfectly. I didn't have any problems with data loss or card failures. I suggest SanDisk for all your memory card uses. They are very reliable.

speed
my camera was old model, so it couldnt handle the 1 GB capactiy of memory.
so i returned back the memory card back.

SansDisk XD Card
This card works great in our Olympus digital camera and holds a ton of photos.

Didn't Work
I purchased this just in time to get it in the mail before leaving for a month long trip to Africa. I kept my 256mb card just in case. I took a few pictures on this card I purchased, and decided to transfer them to my computer to edit them. After transferring them, I put the card back in my camera, and it wouldn't work anymore. My camera said that the card was not activated. I put it back in my computer, and it wouldn't read it.

So, I had to transfer pictures much more than I wanted during the trip, because the 1gb card I purchased simply didn't work. I was very disappointed.

tiny but powerful
These are easy to use and none of these XD cards have ever failed on me, which isn't something I can say for SD cards, for which I've had about a 10% fail rate. A warning however, some older Olympus cameras (for which I purchase these) cannot handle the larger size cards--my Olympus 5050 can't handle the 1 GB XD cards--it simply doesn't register the card at all, but my newer Olympus FE-310 handles the 1GB card just fine. Otherwise they are reliable with a very fast read/store speed. I wish they came, however, with the marvellous small cases that used to come with the cards--Olympus has gotten cheap and no longer includes these.

Quality product at great price.
As is the case with all Lexar products, this CF card is fast and reliable. As a professional I have tried many different brands of peripheral equipment, scanners, printers, studio lights and so on. Through the first couple years of digital photography, testing the memory cards was no different. Unfortunately I paid the price for some. I have had "DelkinDevice" cards that seemed to work fine until you attempt to download the images and then give you corrupt data. I have had "SanDisk" cards that will stop writing data and freeze a camera. And lets not even talk about the cheap mans "ProMaster". Sure there are data recovery applications that can help with some of these issues but when you are being paid top dollar for your images risking it just isn't smart. I have yet to have even the slightest problem with a "Lexar" card. Even in the beginning when write/read speeds were only 4x and 8x the lexars were always quick and never gave any problems with data, and now with their high speed professional series, has to me, completely set the standard. My company only uses Lexar media now and I'm proud to say that. 4 thumbs up!

Great performance!
This is an extraordinarily fast card and a great value. I purchased it used and it gives lightning fast performance, allowing me to get the most out of my Canon 40D.

Fast and Reliable
I bought this card for my Canon 30D (5 fps). It keeps up beautifully. It's fast, and it's reliable. What more can you ask for?

Great camera
This camera has served us well over the years. I really enjoy the night mode.

Fantastic
We got this camera years ago and it has several features that take quality photos. Also very good at close-ups. The other reviewer who said it took grainy photos must have had a defected camera because ours works great! :)

Save your money and buy something else!
I bought this camera and it takes horrible pictures. They come out grainy. I have seen better pictures from a disposable camera than from this one!

Battery Charger
If I had know that in addition to the charges for the product and shipping I would be hit with an additional handling charge from UPS almost equal to the price of the product, I would not have placed my order. This should have been properly explained by the seller and not UPS standing at my door asking for more money.

I had an idea...
I was looking for Wedding Cameras... and then I found this
perfect product. I loved the price and I decide to do my own
personalized paper cover.

good quality but never the best...
I used this brand of single use camera recently and the pictures came out fairly well. I like the idea of a ten pack for people who love to snap lots of photos on vacations and other social occasions. Oh, sure, the quality of the pictures won't be 100% as good as the pictures you would get from a digital camera or a standard, more expensive 35 mm camera. Actually, the pictures these Fuji cameras take are slightly grainier than the Kodak single use cameras. Sigh.

The camera is very lightweight so you can carry several at a time in a bag as you travel. I especially like the built in flash that is easy to use. According to Amazon, the flash range is about 10 feet. I think that's about right.

The camera is a single use camera; this means that after you use it you take the entire camera to the place where you can get film developed; they will take care of the rest. No worrying about whether or not you removed the roll of film negatives correctly without exposing them to too much light. The film speed is 400, so keep that in mind when choosing this camera. A faster speed such as 800 may be preferable.

Overall, this is a good camera for the many, many people who want to travel light or who are on a budget. It is compact and easy to carry; keep one in the glove compartment of your car just in case there's an accident and you need to take pictures of the scene. The camera is also affordable. I give it four stars instead of five simply because the picture quality just isn't the best.

Quick delivery-Lousy photos
Amazon delievered as quick as could be in time for our wedding. It was a last minute idea to get disposable cameras for guests to take their own photos. Well, they got used, but the quality was really bad...most of the frames didn't wind properly, so we wound up with 2 scenes on the same photo. They didn't do well in low light either. Wasn't worth the expensive price of processing. Oh well...

They produce Fantastic High Quality Prints!
Wow what a great idea. I'm now a regular user of Fuji One time use Cameras, they are great to take out with friends, parties, housewarmings, just about anywhere! The idea of buying these in bulk (10 pack) sounds good for the Photographer in your family!
