The Polaroid PDC 3070 digital camera was my first digital camera. It is handy and easy to use. As you can see from my photos above, the Polaroid PDC 3070 served me well. I needed digital shots quickly and this camera came through for me.

Makes great pics for the web!!!
This camera is great for beginners. It's very user friendly and produces great pics. If you are looking for an inexpensive camera that gets the job done, this would be the perfect choice. I was quite impressed with the color quality and sharpness of the pics. If you are looking for a great camera to put pics on the web, this is the one you need!!

For the price, it is a wonder. Does everything. Weight is about 8 ounces, under a pound. Very compact and light.
It does everything, but you need a PC to playback the sound with the video recording. Audio and video recording is easy. Can be used as PC cam. It is not too small so easy to hold and shoot, but light and nicely designed for the hand and for travel. Can easily switch between functions, delete images, safeguard images, work with images and flash. My photo tech said the photos look arty and professional at times. You can get many different effects by changing settings, which is easy to do. Can insert a SD card for huge number of photos on the road. Takes low light very well, even without flash. Auto features. I used it for 2 years and have some really fine and unique images. The downside: It can be touchy with lighting situations. Take care to avoid solarized images. Sometimes psychedelic looking poster images. Some people really like its color saturation. Have to set it for best pictures, even though it has easy auto settings, including auto flash. You can have lots of fun with it, but if all you want is snapshots, this is still worth the money until you can afford something over one hundred dollars. It does not eat up batteries the way higher end cameras do. Uses four triple AAA batteries. Very inexpensive to use. Dramatic non-flash pictures are possible.

not bad if your looking for a cheapy
i went looking for a cheapo digital camera. this turned out not to be so bad after all. its been the best. stills, video,audio, web cam, microphone, all in one. [...] bucks. what a deal. i love it.

Buying it was a big mistake
I'm so upset that I paid 70 bucks for it...it's not worth it. There are not enough features, the voice record doesn't work, and you can only capture images when they are standing still. You cannot catch anythign while it is in action or else the picture will come out blurry. Every time I took a pic with it, I had to adjust the lighting on my computer. The price is ridiculous and I would recommending everyone to save their money.

Nice controls, good for a beginning photographer like me
It seems as though the image stabilizer on this camera can fail and prevent the camera from starting up. It also appears as though that's fixable by upgrading the firmware: http://www.fixya.com/support/t211859-ex_v7

This camera is small enough to fit comfortably in a large pocket, and it's pretty versatile. The controls are pretty well-designed, though I it takes wading through the menus to adjust some photo settings, which is something of a pain. It has a mode selector wheel, which is great for quickly enabling manual control over ISO, shutter speed, or exposure compensation, so it's pretty easy to experiment with.

It doesn't come with a wrist strap, but it has a place where one could be attached. I hope to improvise one at some point, because the camera isn't the easiest thing to hold on to, especially with the lens in the corner.

It's a great camera for the amateur who both wants to fiddle with stuff to improve their photographs, or just take decent pictures without having to think about fancy photographer terms like "ISO" or "f-stop".

Stabilization message fix
My wife's camera got the error message. I installed the 1.03 firmware update. The error message still pops up then goes away and the camera operates normally.

Great features at a low price.
Should have come with a better manual, but overall pretty simple to figure out. Docking station is kind of a pain, but something I can live with after seeing the high quality of the photo's taken. Software was a learn on your own too, but again, pretty straightforeward. Definetly needs additional SD cards as internal memory is tiny.

Mine died just like the others
Same problem. Great pictures and features, but it up and died in Bangkok for no good reason. Too many of us have had the same problem. Also the case Amazon suggests doesn't fit.

great pocket cam
i have had 0 major problems so far, i've been using the EX-V7 for about 10 months now. it has come with my on 2 trips to Las Vegas, 1 trip to the Everglades, and many other excursions. i find the camera dependable and the images are generally sharp. 7x zoom pictures may lose sharpness, but are generally acceptable. i did not buy my Casio from amazon or their vendor.

i am shocked to hear so many people having technical difficulties with this camera.

Ok for the Price
It is a cheaper camera so for the price it does a decent job.
But I would say about 60% of my pictures come up blurry when the target isn't moving, 100% when target is moving. No matter what mode it is in. So if you are buying this to take pictures of your kids it is a bad purchase.

This camera is amazing, until it stops working.
I purchased this camera on sale at Target. The camera exceeded my expectations.

However, only a month after use, the camera would only take pictures in landscape mode. All other modes freeze after a picture is taking.

I recommend purchasing a different camera.

Simple, easy to use digital camera
Using the 3 MP, I am getting better pictures than I do with my Canon and Fuji cameras. The menu is easy to use. I don't care for the flash time delay so I just turn the flash off and I still get good pictures. This is an easy to use point and shoot camera. The price is excellent (I've seen ads >0). I have no major complaints. I added a 512 MB memory card which I can use to email pictures.

Not enough Memory
I like the camera, it works nicely, does what I want it to. The only thing is it only holds 6 pictures w/out a seperate memory chip. :(

I wish it had a charger
I bought this because a few weeks ago a friend of mine had this exact same camera. I waited until this weekend to buy it....even though it came with double a batteries, I think I should've been warned about how fast it would drain out. Even though I didn't do alot with it, the batteries still ran out in 1 day. Overall I love it! First digital camera I've own.

Most aggravating device I've ever used
This printer produces beautiful pictures, (when it works), I liked the idea of not using ink cartridges, you know in advance how many pictures you will be able to print. After a little while; and I mean a very little, like 3 months; it started having problems puling the paper, it will either just jam or say that the ink needed to be replaced. Until it finally stop completely working. Don't buy this printer, you will waste your money.

Great item
I have the Kodak printer dock plus, from 2004, and the dx 7630 camera. Both have consistently worked just fine. No streaks, no bubbles, no jams with the printer. The easyshare software did not want to work with vista, so I abandoned it, after tech support gave me multi-step directions to fix it. It just didn't seem worthwhile to spend the time. I use paint.net to edit photos, and Vista recognizes the camera just fine when I insert the usb into the cpu. The pictures print just fine when I place the camera on the printer.
I also have a newer HP photo printer for bigger pictures, and I think the Kodak prints better. Plus, I like the type of ink & coating that Kodak puts on the photo to preserve them.
Perhaps this printer is different from mine, but I have had mine for years now with no problems.

All Kodak printer docks are just junk
I'm getting ready to throw away my THIRD Kodak printer dock. I've tried every one in the series and none have worked properly. One never was able to print at all!

I've known the printer was erratic the last time I tried to use it. I wanted to send some photos with a Christmas card, so spent a lot of time trying to clean the rollers, load paper, select pictures, and print. No luck at all. It refuses to feed paper to the printer, the amber light comes on, and that's it.

When I bought my first printer, I bought a pack of 160 sheets of Kodak paper and ink cartridges. I still have more than 100 blank sheets left, 60 pictures out of three printers. What a shame. No, the shame is really Kodak's, taking what used to be a respectable name and producing 3rd rate junk under that brand.

It does no good to contact Kodak. Their customer service has no idea what to do or what you're talking about. It does no good to write them, you get a form letter back. Diagnosis and repair costs are too high to warrant the expense for a machine that is going to come back and quickly quit working again.

Eastman Kodak - one of the great brands of American industry - once upon a time. Now, they make products not fit for much more than a dollar store.

Kodak EasyShare printer dock 3 and Vista
I've had this printer for 2-3 months now and have had very few problems. I do use it on a pc with Vista but I do not use the software that came with it. I use Microsoft Digital Image Suite Anniversary Edition. Since I have never downloaded the Kodak software I just select it as the printer when I pull up the photos I want to print. Works well with one caveat, for digital photos the 4 x 6 will not be filled out to the edges. It crops the photo a small amount and it fills them top to bottom but not left to right. So you will need to be certain there is a little bit of margin around items of interest in your picture. I would suggest printing a picture and then comparing it to the original on the camera or on the pc so you can determine how much it is going to crop. I agree with the others it is still cheaper to print elsewhere but is very nice to have this printer for something quick.

Great water proof case for SD750 !!
resonable price compared to others. I have tried a few times in the water bath and no leak. The picture came out fine even with the plastic cover in front of the len. It would take some practices since the case is not built sepcific to the camera shape. Will update when used in the pool and snow

Waterproof Camera Case is Worth the Shot
I recently received the two DiCaPac WP410's I ordered and, after checking one out, was pleasantly surprised that I didn't waste my money. According to the instructions I tested the "waterproof" claim and found it to be as they claim, provided the ziplock type of seal on the opening is closed properly. I made the mistake of assuming I had closed the opening where the camera is inserted until I double checked it just before placing it underwater in my kitchen sink. For testing purposes I had placed a small toy inside the pack since it was more expendable than my camera. After being underwater about 8" for around 5 minutes I removed the pack, shook off any small amount of water and while holding the opening at a lower angle I removed the toy as dry as when I placed it in there. Following the beta test the camera was next and had the same dry results. The only thing different this time was that I was able to take pictures of the wall of my stainless steel sink and my face from underwater. While the plastic is a bit thick and can be a slight problem turning any buttons to activate a particular function, pushing buttons is not a problem and you can always activate the camera in the mode you want ahead of time. There is a glass lens that covers the opening where the camera lens protrudes and I was happy it wasn't made out of a cheap plastic prone to scratches. I would suggest using fully charged or new batteries in your camera so you don't have to worry about changing them right away. Other than that I would give this a big thumbs up and can't wait for next summer at the beach (I wouldn't leave this in direct sun since this would no doubt create a greenhouse effect and overheat your camera). In the meantime I'll settle for using it to protect my camera from the rain and the high humidity of an indoor pool.

Perfect for trips
I was really impressed by the product, but unfortunatelly it got scratched during the trip... right in the visor area. Is there a way to make it better to see?

Simple....yet functional.
Like I said...this is a simple housing that works!!!. More importantly...the price...very affordable, considering this is a Canon product.

I recently used this in several short 20 minute dives throughout the day.
No problems what-so-ever, I read about possible fogging, the camera itself is putting out heat & condenses in the inside.(not the housings fault) Hasn't happened to me...

A good housing for the price....others I researched were well into the thousands....

It is waterproof....
It is a nice quality case, though, it does not allow for use of the cameras control dial! This seriously limits many of the G9's capabilities underwater. A very sad oversite on the design.

camera sucks
I got this camera binocular for my husband for a christmas present, thinking this would be awesome to take on trips or to concerts and take pictures. But no matter how steady you hold the binoculars when you take a picture it always comes out so blurry that you dont even know what you took a picture of. I even tried it on a tripod we had around the house and it still took a horrible picture. Im planning on returning it.

Get it for the binoculars, not the camera
This product is a great idea, but no manufacturer has been able to combine a great camera with the binoculars. The camera always seems to suffer in comparison.
Nonetheless, this is great for its application.

Great binos - dubious camera
I awaited the release of the 3 megapixel model hoping to get some long-range pictures of wildlife on an Alaska trip. The binos are bright and comfortable to use, frankly better than some Nikon's and compact Minolta binos I use.

The camera was disappointing, not entirely useless, but given the choice of a separate 1MP camera with any kind of zoom against the results of the Celestron camera, go with the separate camera. I haven't really been able to determine whether it is a sensor problem or an issue of light, but the pictures were dark and lacking in contrast. A picture of an eagle could not clearly show the feathers in either the dark or light body parts, just a blur of dark and a blur of white. The edges were sharp enough, so it was not an issue of holding the thing steady.

The LCD is useless, washed out in outdoor light and so small that even with my 2.0 reading glasses on, I couldn't see much. The camera is definitely not WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get). You have to fiddle with a zoom in / zoom out button on top of the binos which, since it can only be viewed with the LCD (which is difficult to see) adds to the lack of utility of the camera feature.

Bottom line - the binos are 4 of 5 in quality; the camera is 1 of 5.

Quality Product
The binoculars are excellent and the video capability is nicely featured. A blinking green light indicates when recordiong in video mode; video action can be stopped frame by frame; and a memory card allows recording of an entire sporting event. The display zoom feature is useful in single picture mode. I am pleased with my VistaPix binoculars. They are a quality product.

Celestron got it right!
The Celestron VistaPix LCD Digital Binocular is the best of class. It features digital zooming and stop action in video mode, features that no competitor, to my knowledge, currently offers.I'm very happy with this purchase.
