Saved my lcd
This lcd protector is really nice and looking through the pictures you take, the quality of the images is at least as nice as w/o the cover.
So I am buying a new one of these because of a bonehead move where I hit the release of my tripod w/o holding onto the camera. Probably a total fall of 3 feet.
The glass itself was pretty much ruined. After freaking out and thinking happy thoughts, I slowly removed the glass and, amazingly, the lcd was fine (luckily so were the camera and lens).
I don't know for a certainty that the lcd would have been damaged from the fall, but for < 25 bucks, why risk it?
If you are immune from the sorts of incidents this product seems to protect you from, then you won't need it.
