Useful and inexpensive
This was a useful, inexpensive add-on. The memory storage wallet was not up to snuff, but everything else works well enough. The mini tripod works better than expected, but we have already upgraded that anyway. The difficulty with the tripod is setting it to level. Still, overall a good purchase.

The camera case is good for my Canon and when I purchased a larger case (this one does not have enough room to carry the battery charger and some other essentials), I use this case as extra padding inside the larger case I bought, so it didn't go to waste at all. The case is well made and easy to access.

Tiny tripod but great overqall value.
The tripod is only about 8 inches tall, so you'll need a table and that isn't clear on the description. However, the entire package was a good buy. It arrived quickly and everything was intact. Very good experience!

Great value!
I just ordered this item for a Canon Powershot 590IS and received it within 3 days (seller is CAMETA CAMERA, which I rate EXCELLENT for prompt service). It's exactly as shown, but the carrying case has been zoomed in on picture. The case is an actual Canon carrying case. The batteries come with universal charger and it looks good. I haven't received camera yet, but this transaction looks great so far:)

Almost Satisfied
I ordered the kit only to find that the tripod was less than 6" tall. Of literally no use to me. But the other things like the Case, Battery Charger and and the lens cleaning kit was good. The baterries supplied are not long lasting. With a pair of the battery supplied, I was able to take only about 150 Pictures using my Cannon A580 Digital Camera.

Great Deal
The case is the true 'Canon PowerShot' case which is sold for just under .00 elsewhere on Amazon; it has an extra pocket for batteries. This kit also contains a memory card case, which isn't mentioned in the description. Those two cases along with the batteries, charger and five piece cleaning kit makes it a very good buy. I haven't tried the tripod yet, as this kit arrived before my new Canon camera!

Perfect!
This is a great item and exactly what I needed! I really liked the European adapter that came with it - very handy on a recent trip to Paris. I would highly recommend this product.

This is so much more affordable than the actual cannon one, works fine and comes with wall and car plugs. It's obviously cheaply made but for the price you can't complain!

The BG-E5 - It makes a good camera great!

I had read a number of reviews on the grip at various sites & went ahead and pulled the trigger on this purchase. I have to say that it completely changes the feel of the camera. For me, the grip helps balance the camera nicely with my 17-85 lens on. The battery life is awesome, it was good before, but it's amazing now. I've filled up two 8gb cards & have yet to make a dent on the battery indicator. This grip takes a good camera and makes it a great one. Balance, Battery Life & the added ease of shooting portrait.

Great Add-On
A great add-on for your product. Doesn't add too much weight, and it feels well made.

I just wanted to clarify something for future buyers of this item: you get TWO trays. One tray holds two canon LP-E5 batteries, and the other tray holds 4 AA batteries. That wasn't made clear to me before my purchase (i thought you could use the power sources simultaneously).

Vertically excellent; horizontally so-so
Attached to the XSi body it adds some needed volume & mass. Only problem is that the "horn" which sticks out on the lower right side when used in landscape orientation prevents your pinky finger from wrapping around the grip in a comfortable manner. In portrait mode, it's great. It seems the ergo gurus at canon could have lopped of the offending "horn" to improve the ergonomics in landscape mode. I have an older A2E with a vertical grip and its supremely comfortable in either orientation. The body sans grip has no room for your pinky, unfortunately with the BG-E5 attached your pinky has to content with the aforementioned bulge which interferes with a solid grip.

Great for price and small hands too.
My grip isn't as large as most folks so I thought it important to give a perspective for folks with small hands. This grip adds a bit of weight to the camera but is not too heavy. The trade for more shooting time is worth it. I had to upgrade my head to compensate for the weight. Vertical shots are much easier with the placement of the second button.

It's great that you can use one battery with it. I added a second battery also increasing weight, but again doubling my available shooting time.

Overall, a great addition. I needed it to shoot longer in the field. I'll be away from a power source for a few days.

Leaked, Dont buy
Bought these for an RC car, after about 4 days 2 of them started leaking, Through all 4 out. Not worth the risk in my opinion.

Product Description wrong
The charger I recieved does not include a 120-volt AC cord as advertised in the Product Description . Instead it has a fold out power connector. I am a disappointed that it was misrepresented and not what I expected.

I bought these to use with my new camera. After charging the batteries they don't last more than 15 minutes (fully charged). I don't understand why Amazon recommends the bundle. Stay away from this product!

Power Pro batteries
So far so good. These batteries perform well and they were very cheap. The other reviewers are right that the shape is slightly different, but I'll deal with this to save .

Crappy Battery
Battery is very low quality. You can take maybe 5 pictures before the battery indicator light is on.

short battery life
these battery's aren't to bad but the battery life on them is extremely short...good thing there is two... maybe combined there almost the same amount of time as a reg. one...still ok battery's though.

not the right fit
These batteries look like they fit, but the edges are slightly rounded, so they won't stay in the camera unless you hold it there and close the flap carefully. They work but why did they round the edges so that they don't snap into place like my original Canon batteries did??

Doesn't last long
The product doesn't hold a charge for very long after being recharged a few times.

Equivalent Quality - Amazing Price!
The Ultralast is simply as good as any Canon camera battery. I always have at least three batteries when I travel, not always wanting to take time to charge batteries. There is nothing worse than having your battery go dead when you are in a rare moment of taken great shots. I also photograph while SCUBA diving and that is not the place to have your battery go dead. There are many types of batteries and I've purchased one from Korea. It worked just as well, but the battery life was less. You can also never be sure if a questionable battery may leak and damage your camera. For the price of the Ultralast compared to a Canon, I'd strongly suggest having at least one Canon battery and a few Ultralasts on the side.

Just fine for my needs especially at this price
I bought two of these off brand batteries for my camera instead of one branded one at a quarter of the price through EForcity. Both of them worked well and justified saving . Sure, they didn't keep charged quite as long, but long enough to get through a few days before recharging during a long trip when charging wasn't always possible. After my husband washed the last extra brand name battery, I was reluctant to drop + on another one. Since they worked well, I was quite happy with this purchase.

It does what it's supposed to do...
I bought two of this since my battery doesn't last the whole day if ever I make continuous photos and video recording. Charging time is quite the same as the original battery that came with my camera. And it does last the same as the original one.

I haven't used it as extensively though but still I'm satisfied with my purchase...

WOW! This was the smartest I ever spent!
I thought I had to purchase the expensive Canon battery to make sure I would get a battery that worked, but took a chance on this battery (exactly as pictured) for about INCLUDING shipping. Came quickly, works fine with Canon charger, and works indistinguishably to the Canon battery.

Won't last
Charger might be OK, but the batteries won't hold a charge. Our new Canon Cam will only take about 20 pics before batteries are dead.

Only one problem.
It works well and it's very compact. The one problem I had was that the light never changes to tell you that the batteries are fully charged. It always shows red lights. Other than that, this product served my needs just fine.

MY DISPLEASURE
I WAS THRILLED TO RECEIVE MY NEW DIGITAL CAMERA,,BECAUSE OF THE UPCOMING TRIP I JUST COMPLETED TO ISREAL. UNFORTUNATELY MY BATTERY CHARGER WHICH WAS INCLUDED IN MY PURCHASE DID NOT SEEM TO WORK PROPERLY...I WOULD PUT MY BATTERIES INTO THE CHARGER AND A RED LIGHT WAS SHOWING, THE CHARGER NEVER EVER GOT OFF THE RED LIGHT. WHEN I PUT MY BATTERIES INTO MY CAMERA THEY WOULD ONLY LAST A MINIMAL AMOUNT OF TIME. FORTUNATELY ANOTHER PASSENGER ON THE TRIP WAS ABLE TO CHARGE MY BATTERIES FOR ME. I JUST RETURNED AND WAS ABOUT TO CALL AMAZON TO INFORM THEM OF MY PROBLEM. Battery holder is not all that positive but works fine. Can't complain for the price - does everything that the Canon unit does and more (car adapter) for a quarter of the price...

Good canon replacement battery charger
Like everyone else, I lost the very small battery charger for my Canon 400 camera. After being frustrated for several months I finally caved in and started searching for another one. I was SHOCKED at the price for these things. Especially the exact replacement one.

So, I bought this one.

I don't know why ANYone would give it less than all 5 stars.

Who cares that the light is dim. The red light is obviously OFF
Haven't tried the car charger one but THAT is really a PLUS! How many times on a trip has a battery run out? Now I won't have to wait until night time when we get to the hotel to recharge the batteries (that is probably where my other one is, in a hotel somewhere, stuck into the socket).

All in all, this one is bigger, about the size of an A/C adapter (plug in part) on your phone or other gear. The prongs fold in so you won't destroy them or bend them in your travels.

I think I like THIS one more than the original one. If I ever find the original one, I'll use it at home, use this one for travel.......& in the car. It does a great job and MORE than the original.

Great charger at a reasonable price
I lost the charger that came with the camera so had to buy another one. If I bought an exact replacement from Canon it would have been expensive. This this is great. Not as compact as the original but small enough and convenient. Plus I now have the added ability of pluging it into a car charger. Not something I will use very often but a nice thing to have when I need it. Works great and the price was great too.

I purchased this 10 months ago and surprisingly it still works perfectly.

I only bought it as a temporary solution until I found my original canon charger (which I never did).

I got it, it worked great. It did take me a little while to figure out the battery had to be turned the opposite way rather than the way I got used to on the original charger. No big deal.

It is a little bigger than the original charger but not huge by any means. I only charge at home so that's really a non issue for me.

I do use the charger almost daily. I had expected it to inevitably conk out in a month or two, after which I planned to purchase a canon replacement charger but it has proven me wrong.

So I'd say overall it was a pretty good buy.

My aging mother lost the digital camera I got her for Christmas. I found another one on Craigslist for cheap because it didn't have a charger. Little did I know, I could find a better charger than Canon sells on Amazon. I love that it doubles its function in that you can plug it into the wall outlet or the cigarette lighter in the car. My mom is so happy now that she can take pictures of everything that moves again. She loves playing with her camera. When Momma's happy... I'm happy. Thank you for providing such a bargain, Amazon.

Great Camera
This is our first digital SLR. Takes great pictures. Works great on auto mode until we learn how to use all of the features. Can't wait to get a telephoto lens.

Keep Your Receipt and Box
The bag is very good.
The filter is good.
But the battery, which accounts for the majority of the price, is bad. After taking less than 50 photoes, the batter indicator in my XSi turns red. Yes, I mean 50. Not 500. Because this is 'kit', the original shipping box was big. I didn't bother to keep it. Given this is shipped from Amazon.com LLC itself. I didn't expect any hassle.
Given so many good reviews, I think my item was simply a defective one. But you should be aware of such possibility and keep your receipt and box until you are sure the battery is good.

Very, Very Pleased
I received the Camera case along with the Battery Pack on time and in good condition. The case was more than I expected. It was well made and was genuine Canon. It has lots of room for all kinds of goodies and lots of pockets and dividers to protect my valuable equipment. The battery was a standard, but again genuine Canon Battery Pack. The lens filter was so-so but will protect my camera lens.

All in all a great value and a great price. I am very pleased with our purchase and the service and will not hesitate to do business with this company again.

Good value for money
The one negative thing I have to say about this kit has been noted by other reviewers as well: The UV filter is cheap and tends to add lens flare to your images whenever a strong light source (particularly the sun) is within or off to the side of the image. I verified this by taking some outdoor shots, then replaced the lens with a B&W multi-coated lens (less than from Amazon), which is far superior and eliminates flare.

This one issue aside, this starter kit is an excellent value. The spare battery alone normally costs about , and similar carrying cases can cost more than this entire kit.

The case is well-padded, with a number of internal partitions so that you have room for the camera (with the stock 18-55mm lens attached) and up to four more lenses, with a bit of space left over for your battery recharger, the spare battery, and other small items (I carry a USB SDHC card reader and an extra 8GB SDHC card as well). And this is just considering the space on the inside of the bag; the unpadded outer pockets provide space for several additional items. The bag's adjustable strap is padded also. Overall, this is a superb bag for the Rebel.

Regular 'ol Charger
Plain old charger that comes with the sd870is that I forgot the charger for when I went home for Christmas. Works just fine.

The only thing that I can complain about is Amazon's shipping; I ordered it with 2-day shipping and since I ordered it the tracking said that it would arrive Dec. 22nd. Well, the 22nd came and went, then when I checked the tracking it said that it was on time and would arrive the 23rd. Wait, if it was on time then it would have arrived the 22nd...? OK... Thanks Amazon, so much for 2-day shipping...

OEM is always good
I lost my original Canon one and didnt want to risk getting a cheap knock off. I dont want a non-oem one to overcharge my batteries so I went with the Canon one.

Highly recommended if you lost yours. Also, this is the same one the US market gets, as the the Euro ones seem to get the charger and separate cable.

Smooth Transaction
Although it does not look entirely a Canon OEM, the package box does show Canon's brand name. So I guess it may be a "knock-off" product. But it does work well and the entire transaction and delivery were pretty smooth. No complaint about the seller.
