The scost of shipping was exhorbitant..
The memory chips arrived in good shape, and the cost was wonderful ($.01 each) but the shipping charge seemed exhorbitant, and was not mentioned anywhere on the order form. I was suprized and dissappointed.

1GB digital card
This was a purchase done in error; it was originally intended for a Sony camera I had but it didn't fit; fortunately it worked in a Canon camera and we used the Canon with the Transcend card and our photos of a recent vacation turned out great.

GrEaT SD Card
I purchased these from a great seller on Amazon.com and they are a great product also. Worked as soon as they were placed in a camera and have continued to be a great buy.

Transcend TS1GSDC 1GB Secure Digital Card
Ok, it's a 1GB Secure Digital Card. What more can you say. It works well in a HP R742 digital camera.

Digital Card
This card captured great pictures but it could not be used in the instant photo or DVD maker at three different machines. I was able to use in at the one-hour print shop.

Fast product for action sports
I really like using this product for taking shots of hockey. When I use the multiple shots on the camera, the card reads the shots quickly; there is not much "lag" time.

Quickie
This is a very fast memory card. It can keep up with my Rebel XT shooting 3fps.

Good cards, but poor warranty service from Sandisk
I have five of these Sandisk Extreme III 2GB CF cards. They are very fast and have mostly been reliable (hence the three-star review). However, there is more to this product than merely the item itself. The other question is how efficiently the manufacturer handles things in the event of failure. I recently had one of these cards fail and I have been disappointed by Sandisk's warranty service.

The situation was very straightforward. The card failed. I lost only one photo. No data needed to be recovered. I had all the information available, including a copy of my receipt to prove that I am the original owner. After two weeks, I am still sending follow-up messages to Sandisk asking them for a return authorization, and getting no response. Sandisk has not actually declined to replace the card -- but their process, which was already rather slow, has led to a dead-end.

Several years ago, I had a Lexar CF card fail. It was a quite different experience. They replaced the card promptly. I recognize that all electronics products can fail -- but the real test is how well the manufacturer responds when that happens. My next CF card will be a Lexar, not a Sandisk.

Great Card
While I have had many compact flash cards of varying sizes this card for the size and price was a much better bargain then those of the others. A lot of storage with a little price. Never had an fault or error and don't think I ever will.

good product
this is a good, reliable product. The only disappointment is that I expected to get more photos onto the card. It seems like a lot of space is used up on applications and is not available for pictures.

Extreme III CF 16gb Card
thsi card works great in my D-700 writing photos to the card quickly wihtout any issues. Great product.

Excellent CF card
I have been using this card for over a month now it worked flawlessly. I recommend Sandisk because I have been using my Sandisk CF 2GB since Jan. 2005 I used it in my Minolta 7D and then in my Canon 400D and now in my Fostex FR-2LE Digital Sound Recorder it has been working fine ever since I used it without any data loss or malfunction.

Awesome!
I shoot with a 5d and this card holds around a thousand shots. That's just awesome. I go out, I shoot for the whole day and don't have to change my card...I mean, what else could I want? I love it. Oh and it's about a 3rd the price of similar cards being sold in the mall.

Not so great
Nothing to do with the seller, who was very prompt. Card works fine, but I get the impression that it is actually slower, substantially so, than the Ultra II card I replaced. There is a noticeable pause while the camera writes the image to the card. The Ultra II card had a slight delay as well, but nothing long as this one. Of course, I am using an older camera which was not designed to use a high capacity card like this, but I can't believe the delay is because of that. My impressions are based on a week-long session with the card and over 500 snaps. I would seriously consider using a camera that uses an SD card instead, seeing as to how the other camera we use does not have a noticeable delay using the SD Ultra II card by Sandisk.

Great Card for the money
This is a great card and more than fast enough for its age. I got it when it was about 6 months from release. There was an insane sale and I paid something like 0 for it, when it had been nearly B000JJKX4K,000 on release. Have used it a couple of years with no problems at all in a Canon 5D. Don't format it in the 5D unless your firmware is up to date, however, or it will be treated like an 8gig card until you get something to reformat it and reclaim the "lost" 8 gigs. There's a little hewlett packard formatting program out there on the interwebs that can do this. With neweest firmware, this won't be an issue.

Works great for musin on my LG Rumor
This product does what I wanted it to do, allow me to play music on my cell phone, the LG Rumor. The USB adapter is very handy for loading the card with music (or whatever) and is extremely tiny. The SD adapter will come in handy for use in my digicam. Not sure if I'll ever use the MiniSD adapter.

Great Value!!
I got a really good price on this combo package, but I was hesitant to buy it, because I was confused as to whether or not a 4GB memory card was included with this package. IT IS! The teensy tiny card (micro) is the 4GB SDHC card. Use the card alone in a 'micro' compatible product, or use the included adapters to convert the card to 'mini' or 'standard' SD sizes.

The included USB adapter is lovely and comes with the small lanyard for attaching to a keyring. The USB adapter slides out of the protective sleeve, to hook into your USB port. Everything comes in a hard plastic storage case, to protect your cards and adapters (except the USB adapter, of course). It all seems to be high quality and I have no complaints as of yet! Works great with my Canon Powershot A590IS.

It does what it says
Like usual with memory, the prices seem to have gone down even more the second I made my purchase. With that said, these memory cards do come in handy. My favorite part is the USB adapter that comes included. I've bought these in several capacities and from several vendors and don't think I have used the Micro to Mini adapter (and since I have more than one, the Micro to full size SD card adapter, so you might want to consider a similar model that only includes the USB adapter (or no adapter at all if you already have one lying around).

Keep in mind it is SDHC, so not all electronics will be able to use it (and some older items that do take SDHC cards are not set up to take a 4GB card either).

don't really use the microsd Adaptor, but i carry the usb key everywhere i go!
i have an lg dare with an 8g microSDhc, but i also have a macbook pro. the mac and the lg aren't compatible directly, so i use the usb key adaptor for memory storage and transfer.

I bought two for my CR-5400 adapter for PSP works great only con is write speed but other than that its great!!! :)

Compatibility issues
Not compatible with the Sansa Fuze MP3 player. It causes the player to hang. I also noticed inconsistent playback when I tried using this for video in my camera.
Definitely not what I would expect for "plug & play" high speed memory cards.

Perfect for T-Mobile G1
This memory card works with my T-Mobile G1. Did not get it when I was promised because it most likely got lost in the mail but Amazon send another on by next day air and I have to say that I really like the service at Amazon. The card was not recognized by my card reader so I had to buy a new one capable of reading sdhc cards. So if you're going to use a card reader to access the card buy a sdhc capable card reader.

Great little card, plenty of storage, low price, comes with an adapter, and works with my Treo 755p. Hasn't died yet, so yeah, it's great.

Wonderful for the computer illiterate
I am the family tech support guy. My mother and sister have not pulled their pictures off their cameras on their own. I bought these for them for christmas so WE could see their pictures. I was so happy with them I got one for myself as well. It has changed the way we share pictures and allows them to send to family members as well. I have a DSLR what uses compact flash so I bought a CF to SD adapter. It works, but because the adapter is made of metal range is significantly reduced. Works great in my point and shoot. I plan on buying another for that camera.

Setup is not as easy as you may think, but should be able to be done by most folks who have ever installed and updated a program. If you get this it is ONLY for transmitting your pictures up from your camera to your PC and to a shared service. Certain best price retailer clerks like to tell you it would work for your digital picture frame...it does NOT. Stick to claims on the box. All the usernames and passwords also tend to confuse novice users.


For the more techie folks:
If your network/SSID is hidden you will have issues. It needs to be visible.
I was able to get it to work across multiple subnets but I had to setup a one to one NAT
does not work with a transparent proxy so forget it working in China or most corporate offices
GET the Hotspot access for a year if you travel it would be worth it.
No ad-hoc network support even with DHCP
No static IP functionality
Supports multiple WIFI APs, but you have to be there WITH internet access in order to add them.
Can support GEO tagging of where you upload for yearly.
It will NOT work in your digital picture frame (if you try to upload your pictures to the frame via this card no go, but it will upload them while in the frame).
MAC client has issues...lots of quirky bugs.
Allows you to set privacy options for all photos when posted online.

Pros: post setup it has freed my family's pictures from their SD cards and allows them to order from the web at home without having to upload them manually (which they have no clue how to do even with easy-share). It even sends text messages or emails when it starts/finishes uploads so you can turn your camera off.

Cons: Had issues with non-broadcast SSID or network, but enabling it made it work. For what little security this offers it should not be a large problem. computer has to be on the same subnet/network for this to work best. it may function without it, but I had issues.

Only missing one star because of the following:
firmware and software updates required.
If you are on a MAC and use iPhoto I would tell you to wait a bit until the software is a bit more mature. Stick with plugging the camera in as it should be easy enough. I had issues with typing in the browser window, and uploading photos to it into iPhoto and by the look on the forums I am not the only one.

Not only would I buy another I plan on it and I have given two as gifts.

it was very cool to sit at work for a christmas party and take pictures of people sitting on santa's lap and have them come up 30 feet away on my laptop and print them for people.

it was shipped very fast also.

5/5 cept it resets my camera without picture loss though
I LOVE this product. I truly am taking a million more pictures now that I own this product (with the help of Picasa 3 from Google, too!). The box that this comes in is even very innovative - played around with the box for awhile before I even played with this.

I had no problem setting it up with my wireless network. Only pain is, you can't obviousily connect to other password protected wireless networks unless you set it up before hand using your laptop or deskopt computer (you must use the included SD/USB adapter, and then it writes the password into this SD card).

The only other problem, resulting in -2 stars, is that it makes my Casio camera "reset". While I don't lose and haven't lost any of my pictures, my camera takes about 3-5 seconds longer to turn on now. Also, every once in awhile (I think if my camera is slightly bumped), my camera thinks I just replaced the batteries, and I have to re-set the date and time. Very annoying when I want to take pictures very fast, but have to add the date and time in again.

The card also makes the screen on my Casio camera appear a little more blurry, and a lot more blue.

Overall, DEFINITELY worth it, without a doubt. I could be taking pictures in one room, snap the picture, walk over to my computer and already see it uploaded to my computer and to Picasa Web Albums (free product) INSTANTLY. All of my pictures will be backed up for life!

Always great; now better
We've had a couple of cards since they came out. The latest improvements, some simple, like custom file names continue to make the card more useful. It's a great product.

We use it with an office camera to capture whiteboard information. Map a drive to a network share and everyone has access.

The other way we use it is at events. We set it up to drop pics on a Flickr feed and automatically update our company website with event photos.

Highly recommended and always being improved.

Completely Dissatisfied [OS X]
I really wanted to like this product, but I have found it to be a nuisance under OS X (I have the latest updates for everything). When the card wants to connect (because it is not when YOU want to), the manager will transfer some files and then will crash. After that, it is a matter of invoking black magic spells to see if the stupid thing will want to sync again with iPhoto.

I oftentimes get so frustrated that I just plug in the card directly to the computer, which defies the whole purpose of having a wireless SD card. When it works, it won't transfer movies from your camera, and it won't delete the pictures that you have already downloaded to iPhoto. So guess what? You need to connect the card to your computer; defying, yet once again, the whole purpose of a wireless SD card.

In a nutshell, you will end up plugging this SD card to your computer more times than actually using it wirelessly. I don't know if it works fine un Windows, but as far as OS X goes, this is buggy and a royal pain in the butt to work with.

I just got this 2 GB memory card and now I use it for my Wii and cell phone as well as occasionally taking video on a digital camera. I also use it with an SD card reader with the computer. This is a great memory card that's served me well so far!

Buy two reports and only sent me one

Great Performer
I bought this Mini-SD for my new Treo 755P smartphone. It works great just as it was designed to. Although the Mini's are going away in favor of the Micro, but the internal technology is identical. I have several Transcend SD cards in both the full size and the micro, all perform well.

Works pefectly with Palm phones.
Works great with my palm Treo 750. Card works flawlessly and just works like advertised. Comes with a SD adapter, but I have too many of those from other cards. Transcend is a trusted company for memory, comes with a good warranty. Will by this brand again.

Transcend 4GB Mini SDHC Card is a great memory card. Works great with my Treo 750 without any hassels. So far I have had no problems with the speed. And for the price, I believe this is an awesom buy!

Excellent speed and capacity for a D300
Extremely versatile (good storage capacity, high transfer speed for 25 MB NEFs) memory card for my D300. I have three of these and I prefer more lower capacity cards than fewer higher capacity cards. I highly recommend using extreme IV cards because, if you shoot RAW and 14-bit on a D300, the files are around 25 MB each and high-speed transfer cards are a must for your kit. You can store around 150 14-bit NEFs on a 4GB card. Highly recommended.

Sandisk is exceptional.
Sandisk is Exceptional. Always have been for me all the years I have used them. Never had a failure or error. never had one wear our or break. I use them TONS. I have taken over 40,000 photos and between the 3 sandisks I have none of them are any slower, have had any errors, or have broken. I take them out of my camera and put them in a card reader every time I put pictures on my computer. If you can imagine.. I've done that quite a few times. they are VERY DURABLE CARDS!...Highly Recommend them over others.

Memory for camera

I bought this for a DSLR to have more room that the previous 2GB ExtremeIII and more speed with continuous shooting mode. The Memory Card has preformed flawlessly.

Cons: I have already had two occasions where I have filled it with pictures while shooting. A lot more bad pictures to weed out.
