Good but a little too tight when camera is inserted. The durability of the belt loop appears a little suspect.

Fits Perfect..Nice Leather
I really like this cake. Its a perfect fit and the leather is very nice. The case comes with a hook on back so you don't have to always carry it.

Stylish, lacks basic things.
Good Quality leather case, but does not covers the camera fully, it doesn't procted your camera from drizzles.

Tight!!! Had to squeeze in my W-Series camera.

Also there is good chance that you might loose while shooting pics.

I would not recomend it. Not worth the price.

A Nice & Stylish case to protect & carry Sony DSE-T 300
A very good case to protect Sony DSC-T 300 Camera for storing as well as traveling. The idea of the loop (for belt pass thru) keeps hands free during travel at the same time providing safe storage for the camera when not in use. The magnetic closure is neat & offers smart & clean look. The quality of leather is excellent in tune with the expensive camera. One would not feel shy in carrying this case.

To small
I bought the Sony Cybershot DSC-W300. The strap is on the side of the camera, so you have to force the camera down into the case. SO I don't think this case fits to all of the cameras in the W series.

Best Camera I have ever owned!
My fiance purchased this camera for me for Christmas and I could not have asked for a better gift. It takes GREAT pictures, is easy to use, and I haven't had a blurry shot.
If you are looking for professional photos, skip it, but it is the best you are going to get for your money with a point and shoot. The zoom is also AMAZING. I can get things all the way from the front of my yard to the back of my yard. The touch screen also makes things easier.

Not for Professional Photographers
1. This is not a camera for professional photographers. This IS a camera for those who take lots of outdoor shots, those who like the convenience of a small camera, and those who like Sony.

2. This is not a great camera for indoors/low light conditions. This is a great camera for action shots (when placed on the right settings).

3. I LOVE this camera for what I do, which is a lot of close up still life type shots. It hooks up to my HDTV and plays the most beautiful slideshows I've ever seen. The 8mp may be too much for some, but I tend to print large scale photos from my digital files, and the 8mp is PERFECT for me.

4. Being a Sony person, I have several MS Duo sticks laying around. Anyone who's got a kid with a PSP will know these aren't obsolete. I like the fact that the MS Duo isn't tiny, like some of the SD kin. I hate fubmling for a teeny-tiny little card and being afraid I'm going to lose it. I don't have that problem with this camera.

5. I really, really love the touch screen. It's big, beautiful, clear and responsive. I did put a screen protector on it as soon as I had it in my hands, so that it wouldn't get scratched. But it's stood up to 6 yr old hands many times without damage.

6. This camera is a great size for a 'Mom on the go' because it slips into a purse or back pocket very easily. The internal zoom has got to be one of the coolest things ever. I love that I can get the shot when others with their standard zooms can not.

7. All in all I would most certainly recommend this camera. It takes a little while to play with the settings and learn how to use it, but it's well worth it. It takes great photos, has a great form factor, and is very reliable.

GOOD digital camera
Excellent camera but it takes some time to learn to used it. Some users may get poor quality photos. There are other cameras cheaper and easier to use to obtain good pics. But there are few cameras so good looking. I recommend try it before buy it to decide if is what you want.

So cute, but definitely not a good value.
I bought this camera 1 year ago. I thought that because it was Sony and was expensive, it would be a good camera. I also loved the sleek design and the large LCD touch screen. Although this camera isn't terrible, there are definitely better out there (and for less $!). I have a 1 year old and thanks to this camera I have missed out on some special moments. I've been surprised to find that pictures that look good on the LCD screen are in fact blurry, something you don't always notice until you upload them to your computer. Here are the good and bad things I've noticed with this camera over the last year.
Pros:
-Large, crisp LCD screen
-Pictures taken outdoors can come out beautifully!
-Battery charge lasts a decent amount of time
-Sleek, slim design is eye-catching takes up little room in your bag
-You can hook it up to your TV for a slide show (which you can add music to by uploading the music to your camera)
-You can draw on your pics using the stylus and you can add 'stamps' to pics, too
-You can remove red eye and crop photos right there on the camera!

Cons:
-Although the touch screen was appealing at first, it's more of a pain. It gets so dirty, and the menu is ridiculous. You have to go through way too many options just to review your pics.
-The lens is in an awkward place...if you're used to holding your camera with two hands while you take a pic, it's very likely that one of your fingers is going to be in your picture!
-You must use SONY everything...not convenient if you happen to want or need a new battery.
-This camera uses memory stick pro duo rather than a plain old sd card...more $$$
-Pics taken in lighting that is not absolutely PERFECT will most likely come out burry or dark. The flash doesn't always know when to go off when in auto mode
-For some reason, I often can see dust in my pictures because the light from the flash reflects off of it somehow
-It takes a while to focus in order to get a clear pic, not good for someone trying to take pics of a busy toddler
-Shutter speed could be faster
-Face detection is hit or miss, and without it most pics of my son come out blurry
-Smile shutter was completely useless for me b/c it really only detects huge, cheesy smiles that you wouldn't want a picture of anyway

That's all I can think of. I just went today and purchased a Canon SD790IS and I hope I will be pleased with that camera. I would never buy a Sony camera again...it was way too expensive and the fancy features don't make up for the bad picture quality.

Poor Quality..
I purachased this Item for gift purpose, but I recieved the item in very bad condition(outer box fully damaged and finger prints on screen). My friend is saying that picture and video quality is also not that much good compared to 3.0 MP Camera(she sent me those photos and videos, those are too worst quality)... So she is not satisfied with the camera..so am also not satisfied with the product that you sent to me. That too I Purchased for gift purpose and you insulted me by sending a worst quality product. so that I decided not to buy any other products through amazon.com website.

Extremely Poor Picture Quality & Customer Service
I purchased the DSCT500 new in November 2008. Unfortunately, the picture quality was way below any digital camera I have ever owned or used. I was advised to send to the Sony Repair Center which I did. It was returned and the pictures were still of low quality. It appears that perhaps there was a defect in the lens, the sensor, or the programming. However, my main complaint turns out to be the lack of service by Sony Customer Service and Customer Relations. My calls have not been logged properly, I have been hung up on, and I have spent countless hours on hold and being switched from one department to another. I am very disappointed in every aspect of this purchase. I don't know what else to say beyond the fact that I am totally frustrated and might as well chalk up the 0 as a total loss. Sony has disappointed me big time, and left me helpless.

Good Camera
I have owned this camera for almost a month now and have been very satisfied with it. The 5x zoom is excellent and much better than my prior camera's 3x zoom. The HD video is super and I can get over 3 hours of HD video on my 16gb memory card pro duo. I was worried about the battery life based upon other reviews. The camera took 120 pictures and 7 minutes of HD video outside with no flash. That is plenty good for me. I have an extra battery just in case and estimate the flash will bring down the number of pictures to about 2/3 of what I got without the flash.

All in all, this camera is very nice, takes good pictures and video, and was worth what I paid.

jeff

Good Technology Marred by Bad Design
I ended up taking this camera back to the store, and it broke my heart to do it. In all other respect I was very happy with the advanced tech the T500 brings to the table. The HD video looked great, touchscreen made it easy to get around the menu system, and it took pretty good pictures....

Except under flash conditions. Using the flash will result in pictures filled with dust orbs, little flecks of dust reflecting light back due to the proximity of the flash to the lens. This renders the T500 useless under flash conditions, which is a deal-breaker for me.

So back it went. Hopefully the Sony designers can fix this fatal flaw with their ultra-compact cameras.

Large spots/bubbles in indoor shots with flash
I'm on my second one of these cameras (DSC-T500), and both have recorded large bubbles or spots on the pictures that are taken indoors with flash. Not every single such picture, but most of them have this. I haven't seen this mentioned in any other review - is anyone else seeing this?

Other than that, the outdoor pictures and videos are great. But ruined indoor photos are a deal breaker.

Nice video quality, cheesy touchscreen, awful battery
The video and audio quality are the best of any of the 3-4 point and shoots that can do 720p video, but you'll burn through the battery in 45 minutes of casual use.

Touchscreen is a bit cheesy to me, but i prefer a button i can feel. I expect iPhone quality touchscreen resolution and responsiveness these days, and the screen on this cam feels 2 years old.

NP-FT1 Cybershot rechargeable Infolithium
Very hard to find authentic rechargable NP-FT1 batteries on most sites. Most are knock-offs and do not last. Reliable site with authentic product.

JUST BUY THE DB-FT1
DONT SPEND TOO MUCH MONEY ON THIS BATTERIE. JUST BUY THE DB-FT1, I JUST ORDERED 2 OF THEM AND BY DOING THAT I SAVED A LITTLE OVER .00. REMMBER U ARE PAYING FOR THE BRAND NAME SONY AND NOT THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT.!

Happy Camera!
My previous battery was no longer performing correctly. I was looking for a new one. My camera is working now. The battery was well priced and shipped quickly. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

battery works great
allthough i've just begun to use it, i can see the difference between the one that came with the camera in 2005. It seems to recharge quicker as well.

Sony's the best
I have 3 of these batteries for my T9 and they are the best. With a 2GB memory card...it takes 2 batteries to fill the card (that is 600+ pictures).

Stylish, Strong and Compact
If you own a Sony Cybershot T300 like me, this is the case to buy!

Looks Great.
The quality of the leather is very nice. The case fits my camera like a glove and is certainly rigid enough to keep it protected. Looks great!

Great Sony Camera Case
A good quality product that serves its purpose to protect the camera. Nothing more, nothing less. Very pleased with the purchase.

Fantastic case for my new T500
The sony site doesn't show this as compatible with the T500 (or pretty much any other case), but it fits perfectly. I was worried since the T500 specs show it as slightly larger than the T300, but rest assured, it fits like a glove. As noted in the other review, it is a hard case, which I actually prefer for it's added protection. It is a bit bulky as well so this will not be friendly to tight pockets. The quality is top notch however.

Buy here rather than a fake one off ebay. Same with memory sticks - a large percentage of ebay memory sticks are fake.

leather is not soft
I just received this case today. The overall quality is acceptable. It compliment and fits my T300 perfectly . I gave it a 4 stars rating because it feels more like a hard case and a little too bulky .

Excellent
It's been more than a month now that I bought this memory stick for my psp slim. It works great!! There's not much to say.... i mean; computers detect it ezly, it loads fast,... I just dont see the use of getting one more expendsive for there is no difference [except the bigger pain in ur pocket]. Getting one more expendsive is buying the mark only..and remember that it will always be hidden inside ur device.
Admittedly the color is distinct at best, ridiculous at worst. But who cares if its hardly displayed anyway?
I'll recomend this to all.

Excelent MS Pro Duo
I tried a few MS's for my psp and a cousin's psp.
Had a few problems with fake MS ( they work on cameras and cellphones but don't work right on a psp) and this sandisk worked fine.

I have about 5 different MS, and i recommend this one.

Trouble with copying files to PSP - waste of money
I bought this product for my son's new PSP and thought I was getting a great deal. The price for this 4gb was the same as the store price of a 2gb and I intended on storing movies on it for my son. Unfortunately, when I tried to copy even small 1mb pictures to the PSP, the screen would lock up and give me all sorts of errors. I tried to copy all sorts of files and success was hit or miss. After a week, I gave up and bought a 2gb at the store. I have not had a single problem with the 2gb and have been able to copy full 2hour movies quickly and without error. This 4gb was a total waste of money and time.

Everything you ask for
Everything you ask for low price, good quality. Make sure you know that every 4gb memory stick does not actually have 4gb, but a little bit below. Why, I don't know.

PSP yes.
If you have a PSP this is a must have. Holds a lot of data.

Fast but not good
I bought this camera because it was super fast between shots, a big requirement for me as I've lost so many good shots waiting and waiting. It does take nice pictures outside, but inside shots are horrible. I went through all the suggestions, settings, etc. that were available and recommended in these and other reviews but they still turned out terrible. They looked GREAT in the preview while still on the camera, but as soon as I looked at them on the computer they were all grainy, with some backgrounds looking like they'd been colored in with crayon. Even the "better" indoor ones looked like they were taken with a 3mp camera. And the proprietary memory sticks didn't help either. Since I figured half of my pictures I take are indoors it wouldn't be wise to keep so I took it all back and got a Canon Powershot SD1100 IS, which is AWESOME. SUPER fast and great pics, even the extreme close-ups were good.

Sony just keeps getting better!
I bought this camera for my husband. It's to replace the camera I bought him last year that I just couldn't seem to part with (another Sony). He is not a big camera buff, I am the one who is snapping all the pics. This camera is awsome!! The pictures are perfect, the lighing the colors, the sharp images...what more can I say? He is a point and shoot man, and his pics are better than mine! When you see the pics you would think that the settings were changed, or maybe the pic was photo-shopped...not with this camera. Power it on, point the camera and snap the pic....thats it! Its the perfect in your pocket or purse camera. Great for adults and kids. The price couldn't be beat and I got free shipping from Amazon....it just doesn't get any better than that! ****I took pics of snowflakes falling from the sky yesterday....picture perfect-looked like I photo-shopped them in!! ****
GET THIS CAMERA!

A huge disappointment - image quality is appalling
I received this camera for Christmas and was very excited upon reading all the specs on the box. The pictures come out beautifully on the LCD, but once you transfer them to the computer, the quality changes. They're ALL inconsistent, even when comparing photos in similar lighting conditions. The best way I can describe the pictures from this camera is like a Monet painting; from far away the image seems just fine, but up close it is a HUGE mess. Lots of blurring, no crispness, graininess, pixelating. I was absolutely appalled. I have a Canon Elph S500 from FOUR years ago that takes better photos than this. Looks like I will be buying another Canon. Huge disappointment. Definitely do your research and look at the image quality to decide if this camera would be acceptable for you. For me, it's not.

I love this camera!!!
I received this camera for Christmas from my fiance. The digital camera I was previously using was a 3.2MP, Olympus. Great camera but a little older. The Sony blows it out of the water. It's easy to use and has tons of features. I was a little intimidated by the manual and all the symbols for different features. But the camera has on screen explanations for everything. Battery life is awesome, I'm soooo happy I don't have to keep buying AA's anymore. I can't wait to use this little device during our spring vacation. Best camera I've ever owned by far!

VERY SATISFIED
ORDERED THIS CAMERA FOR MY DAUGHTER FOR CHRISTMAS. EVERYTHING EXPLAINED ABOUT THE CAMERA WAS CORRECT. SHE LOVES IT, TAKES GREAT PICS AND IS EASY TO USE. HAS A GREAT SCREEN SIZE AND BATTERY LIFE.

Good money saver
Generally I am against any products imported from china but this is exactly half the price of the Sony 1GB Memory Stick Pro Duo (Made in Japan) I own multiple cards of both the Sony and this product. This card seems to operate at the same speed as the Sony version. It reads fast and holds your data with out fail for half the price. You can't beat SanDisk when it comes to these cards. I am very pleased.

Great Price!
Best price to be found. Shipping was free but very slow! Didn't go out for almost over a week. Worth it for price though-almost double in other stores.

It's very cool
Ok. I just bought this one for my Sony DSC W120 and I can take several pictures and It works fine...
I recommend this for people who use their cameras a lot and want to keep their pictures a long time...

Product works well - Wonderful Customer Service from Supplier
My Daughter was continually running out of memory on her SONY Cybershot digital camera. I went to the Internet to search for a larger memory card. I quickly read the product information on Amazon.com and picked the card I needed from one of the lower priced providers. When my Daughter received the card, she called to tell me that it was about half the size of the one that fit her camera. Further research revealed that the card would work with her camera, BUT an adaptor was needed. Before trying to resolve this via the Internet, I went to every local store I could think of (Best Buy, Circuit City, Sears, Radio Shack and others) to buy this adaptor. No one sold it and I was told I might not be able to buy it without the card. As a last resort, I called Super Deal and left a VM message. In a matter of minutes, Shamelia returned my call. She listened as I told her of my dilemma and said she would research the problem and get back to me. Shortly thereafter I received another call. The gentleman told me that I had ordered the wrong item and that the card with the adaptor was slightly higher in price. He then offered to replace the one I ordered with the correct one at no additional charge and no additional shipping charge. He only asked that I return the other card. I have dealt with other Internet companies and was surprised by, not only the personal attention over a purchase, but also their willingness to help without charge when they "had me over a barrel". The correct card was delivered shortly thereafter (we returned the wrong card for B0006TI9WG.50 in postage) and this story has a happy ending.
Thank you again Super Deal for your kindness and assistance.

Spacious
I use this memory stick in my Cyber-shot camera. It allows me to take a lot of pictures without worrying about memory space. SanDisk is an excellent brand.

Best DSLR for the price
I compared this camera with the Nikon. Live View was the deciding factor. This camera is great. Pictures are super clear. I have not had much time to use all the features but many think that the photos were taken by a professional. I shot on auto mode! Sports shots come out great, the clarity and speed are really wonderful for an amateur photog.

Downside, you can get some shadow as the flash pops up quite low and can cause shadow with the lens.

I recommend getting the accessory kit with the extra battery as I am always forgetting to charge it.

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT
I received this as a Christmas present. Within 3 days of having this camera I had taken almost 600 pictures. I have owned many cameras (pentex, kodak, etc... ) NONE were this good. You really have to try to get a blurry picture. I was changing the zoom and took a pic and it still came out clear. I tried everything and kept it on the auto setting for type of pics and it was always clear. I am not a camera buff and it will take me some time to learn all the features, but so far so good. I would highly recommend this to someone without a lot of picture taking knowledge that just wants a good camera like I did.

Expected more than what I found
I have been using various sony cameras right from P9, P10, some fancy handy types which came out as limited editions and lately using DSC-H1 past 2 years now. I decided to buy a new series alpha of sony and is when I finalized the A300 and bought. The contrast, clarity, liveliness on the true colours is all that is lacking in A300. My DSC-H1 is excellent comparing to A300. The pictures from A300 look as if somebody has set an extra film of colour which ruins the results and photos look like they have been stored for many years. I am talking of clicking the photos in either "P" mode or "Auto" mode. So not as expected. Otherwise, the look of the camera, price, some extra features are not matcahable with other brands. Sony stays quiet exclusive in those terms.

Don't waste your money. Purchase a Nikon or Canon...
I purchased my SONY Alpha 300 several months ago. Since then almost 75% of my pictures are bad using the flash. This is not due to the plastic guard the attaches to the front of the lens. If it was the guard, the shadow would occur all the time. I don't think the Sensor is bad because the shadow occurs when using the flash...strange. The shadow is a black arc that appears at the bottom 1/4 of the image. I am waiting for a response from Sony on the cause. Regardless if they can fix it, I have a lot of good pictures that have been ruined. Maybe SONY should add Photo Shop in camera package to fix the bad pictures. I should have went with a proven camera, such as Canon or Nikon.

To be fair...
If you're lucky to purchase the camera without this problem, Congrats. I would otherwise rate the camera 5 Stars. The images are awesome. I purchased the camera after reading a Mag review stating the Menus blew away the competitors. Since I am new to digital SLRs the Menu ease of use was a big deal. The Menu is easy to use, I hardly used the users manual.

Just beware when buying this camera...are you confused now?
From my experience this camera is 1 Star.

Bravo Sony
As a Sony advocate I applaud the Sony Alpha! Sharp pics! Flip screen is awesome! Move over Canon and Nikon !
I upgraded from a Sony F828 (which I still use! and it's in excellent like new condition and trouble free since the day it arrived).
Sony stands behind their product!

The only glitch with the alpha is the must purchase of a convertor which allows one to use MemorySticks. Personally, I feel that for the price of this camera Sony should include the adaptor.

Sony Cybershot DSCW130/B 8.1MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Zoom with Super Steady Shot (Black)
Binding: Electronics
Manufacturer: Sony
Product Description:
The DSC-W130 Cyber-shot(R) digital camera delivers Smile Shutter technology for automatically capturing smiles as they happen and lets you share them beautifully in HD. You can expect stunning detail, thanks to 8.1-Megapixel Resolution and a Carl Zeiss 5x optical zoom lens. Plus, Sony's Face Detection technology controls focus, exposure, and color on up to eight individual faces, resulting in more accurate, natural skin tones. Resize your photos in-camera for virtually any purpose. 4x optical zoom brings distant subjects closer to help you capture sharp, detailed long shots and quickly frame images for better composition. Because an off-center subject can make your shot more interesting, a 9-point auto-focus measures focus at 9 precision points instead of 5, giving you greater creative freedom to compose your image. The large, bright 2.5" TFT LCD (115K Pixels) display makes it easy to compose shots, check results, and read menus in sharp natural color, even in bright sunlight. battery is very bad
this is my 2nd sony 130 in a month...the battery depletes power in 3-4 days even without use.....don't trust if going on an excursion w/o backup....returning again,.....great pictures/features but no power capability on a trip....going back to my old casio exilim

Love this camera
I bought the DSCW130 to replace an older model Cybershot which suddenly stopped working. So far I love it. It's very small, but once I got used to the size, I found it very easy to use. The photos are crystal clear and there's practically no shutter release delay. Highly recommend!

Great camera!
The smile detection feature is what sealed the deal. Its a great camera. The only warning is it holds 4 pictures without a memory card. I DID find an 8G memory stick duo for like online so that should make it hold about 2k pics.
I didn't find the ISO pics to be too blurry... but I'm not a professional photog, just a mom :)
Anyhow, great camera, great pics. I recommend it based on the value.

A wonderful camera
The cybershop is a compact effecient camera. I have not learned about all of its features, but so far, it is very easy to use. I am very please with this purchase.

nikon
